Introduction

Taniko Ora is a kaupapa that brings together the lived experiences, cultural identity, and wellbeing

of Rangatahi, Whānau, and Kaumātua.

Like Taniko patterns that tell stories through design, Taniko Ora celebrates healing, resilience, and connection.

Rooted in Ngāti Tamaoho Tikanga, Toi Māori, and mana-enhancing practices, Taniko Ora offers safe spaces where voices are heard, whakapapa is honoured, and wellbeing is nurtured.

We see wellbeing as a woven journey. Through wānanga, kōrero, and whanaungatanga,

we help Rangatahi reclaim their stories, uplift their wairua, and embrace their identity.

Taniko Ora is more than a service, it’s a movement of restoration, empowerment, and cultural strength, led by those who have walked the path and now guide others.
